Dr. Somrot Phonglamai, a specialist in neurostimulation rehabilitation medicine and the founder of Brainwell Medical, participated in the “1st International TPS Symposium” held in Germany on October 11-12. TPS stands for Transcranial Pulse Stimulation, which is an innovative technique that uses pulse waves to stimulate the brain.

The event gathered over 76 countries’ leading brain experts and provided an international platform to exchange knowledge and further the innovation of brain rehabilitation in Thailand.

The symposium brought together renowned experts, including neuroscience professors, rehabilitation physicians, psychiatrists, and several biomedical engineers, making it a truly interdisciplinary event. Dr. Somrot was among only five participants from Asia—four from Hong Kong and himself from Thailand—highlighting the significance of Thai representation in advancing international-level brain health innovation.
